My coverbook

It is the first time I design a cover book. It’s the difficult work. I have to spend a lot of time to design this cover. I like the dark colour it makes the novel is more impressive. I decide to take the photograph at home, it must belong the content of this novel. RAIN? It is not necessary; you can do better by using some thing related to rain!!! Well, that is the preparation for idea. Next, the technique is very very difficult why? Because you have to make every thing belong to the Standard, you have to make the printer understand your meaning and don’t waste money…I am quite happy when my cover book is CR, I hope I will try to do better in the future. Thanks Maddy who help me to touch the strange thing.

Impressive job

This is the first time I try to play with warm colour. They want to burn me! When see at again the colour knit together make the picture be more abstract. Beside that, the liquidfy tool plays an important role, it make the text like the flow inside the hot river. You can see the text… oh man… these are some thing I want to tell when semester is coming the ending. Thanks!!!!

Photoshop1

These pictures are edited by Photoshop. One thing that I use the Gradient and wave effect to make the text “DIM”. I can try to make it better; it is suitable to make the title of magazine and webpage. And another thing, it comes from an original pic that I received when I buy a Professional Camera (it is a gift). After change some colours and edit the option blending. At now, the picture is not a real image; it is an art on the wood surface. You can imagine that the artist who doesn’t create it by pen or the camera. Perhaps the artist is a carpenter.

Mysterious inspiration

I like to play with Photoshop, when look at some posters, some pictures, I wonder How can I do it? Sitting in the chair, open the Photoshop and I start. I spent a lot of time to make this picture; I imagine the Rock Mountain and do it in Photoshop. It look so Mysterious .

The lightning in your hand

Do you want to make the lightning to do some purpose in graphic? I will show you some basic steps to make the lightningà FFFUUUNNN!!!

Step 1: Create a new file (set the foreground is Black)
Using Gradient tool to paint this layer from black to white(Gradient-Foreground to Background( Linear style)) from the left to right.


Step2: Filter/Render/Difference Clouds
Ctrl I (Command –I) to invert the colour.

Step3: Ctrl L ( Command –L) à to open the Levelsàadjust Input Level to the right( The lightning appear)àOK( chose Screen).

Step 4: Ctrl U (Command-U) à to open the Hue/Saturation( adjust the Hue and the Saturation :25).

WOW YOU WILL HAVE THE LIGHTNING IN YOUR IMAGE

The fire around the Text

These are some steps help you to make “the fire around the text”:

Step1: Create a new file with black background, and type the white text into that

Step2: Filter/Style/Wind (Wind from left)à makes the left ray of light.
Do that one more time (Ctrl F).

Step3: Filter/Style/Wind (Wind from right)à makes the right ray of light.
Do that one more time (Ctrl F).

Step4: make the up and down ray of light
Image/Rotate Canvas/90CCW
Filter/Style/Wind (Wind from right):2 times.
Filter/Style/Wind (Wind from left):2 times.
Image/Rotate Canvas/90CW (rotate again).

Step5: Filter/Blur/Gaussian Blur (radius=2.0)
Filter/Distor/Rippe (Default (not edit)).

Step6: change to “fire colour”
Image/Mode/Grayscale.
Image/Mode/Indexed Colour.
Chose Blackbody colourtable (Image/Mode/Colortable)
Change again to RGB (Image/Mode/RGB color)

Step7: Type that text again ( black color, and its size is bigger that the previous). Put it on the previous.

The lense

This picture is captured at Sentosa Island, a most beautiful Island in Singapore. I was interested in the double-decker in this Island. This image of double-decker is the especial style in Singapore. After seeing the second pic that is edited by Photoshop, you will imagine that “I am standing in front of the camera; I am focusing on the double-decker to take the photograph but there was raining outside”. Wow, Photoshop again helps me to make the interesting thing .

Rainbow

I really like to play with Photoshop. Through it, I can make everything become an actual thing. This picture was captured by me when I traveled to Singapore. There was no rain, no rainbow but hot and dry. I use Photoshop to make the sight after the rain, the sky is brighter… And A Rainbow appears. Do you feel that is true? Wow I believe that Everything is possible .
